Yakuza 0 (Japanese: 龍が如く0 誓いの場所| Ryū ga Gotoku Null: Chikai no Basho Lit. It is a prequel to the Yakuza series, set in December 1988, in Kamurocho and Sotenbori, fictional versions of Tokyo'due south Kabukicho and Golden Gai, and Osaka'due south Dotonbori respectively. The game follows a xx-year-old Kazuma Kiryu and 24-year-old Goro Majima equally they uncover the mystery of an empty lot in the middle of Kamurocho whose worth has attracted the attending of some of Japan's biggest criminal enterprises. Most of these gun models are recycled from previous games.

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

The following weapons appear in the video game Yakuza 0:

Handguns

1911-Derived Pistol

The weirdly shaped 1911 variant from Yakuza: Dead Souls returns, more often than not as the sidearm of master adversary Keiji Shibusawa. While its details are muddled, information technology mostly resembles a Para Ordnance LDA with a few skewed features.

Deciding that Kiryu's life hasn't been hard plenty, Shibusawa uses his 1911 to shoot the taxi driver and begin the massive auto chase.

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS appears as the chief sidearm of Masaru Sera, used heavily by him and given to Majima at the end of the story.

Makarov PM

The Makarov PM pistol appears as the "9mm Automated Pistol" as well every bit the "Worn Out Pistol" and is used heavily past Yakuza members as well every bit Akira Nishikiyama. Information technology is also used by property manager Yamanoi to threaten the Finance Rex, who then appropriates information technology to try and fight Kiryu.

Baikal-442 - 9x17mm Browning/9x18mm Makarov/9x19mm. It is a Canadian marketplace import model of the Makarov. It features an long butt, not seen on the military machine Makarov pistol.

Akira Nishikiyama uses the Makarov PM in an endeavor to kill his Kyoudai and save him from Tojo clan torture.

Nikkyo Consortium men armed with Makarovs open on Kashiwagi's men assembled at the pier.

Goro uses a thug's Makarov PM to put a 9x18 shaped pigsty in another thug.

Yamanoi trying to put the Finance Male monarch out of business with a Makarov.

To Kiryu, Gun Control means "Beating the crap out of people with guns."

The Finance King clutches his Makarov as Kiryu prepares to hit him with an entire tabular array.

SIG Pro

The SIG Pro is used by Hiroki Awano (Riki Takeuchi) as his sidearm, used both to threaten Kiryu in a closed disco and to actually fire on him when he escapes the Dojima Family ambush. Another model from Yakuza 3, this 1 is rendered anachronistic past the backwards time shift: the SIG Pro was non introduced until 1999.

Awano threatens Kiryu with his SIG Pro, note the compensator ports and forest grips from the Yakuza 3 model.

Later on on, Awano opens fire on Kiryu equally he escapes with Tachibana. This scene is seen in the intro movie.

SIG-Sauer P226/Heckler & Koch USP

Returning once more from Yakuza 3 is this model based on the SIG-Sauer P226, with minor elements from the Heckler & Koch USP both as the "Modified Air Gun" as well as the primary sidearm of Jin Oda and used past Kiryu in a car hunt against the Shibusawa Family. Like in Yakuza 3, the in-game files list it equally a CZ-75 but the overall pattern is a match for the hybrid gun. Although the USP did not go into service until 1993, equally mentioned, this gun is mostly based on the flow-accurate P226.

SIG-Sauer P230

Yet some other model from Yakuza iii is the completely misshapen and inaccurate SIG-Sauer P230, although mercifully retextured in black instead of Yakuza three's gold. This is Tsukasa Sagawa'south pistol, which he uses to shoot Masaru Sera, although not fatally. One must wonder why the developers did not merely apply the far more accurate P230 model from Yakuza: Expressionless Souls.

Sagawa examines Kiryu'southward property bill of fare found in the pocket of the unconscious Sera. Annotation the incorrectly-shaped hooked trigger guard.

A cinematic forepart view of the gun, showing the inaccurate bore, mode too large for .32 or .380 ACP.

Type 67 silenced pistol

The rare Type 67 silenced pistol is used by master assassinator and secondary antagonist Lao Gui. The game files describes it as a Type 64, simply it more closely resembles a Type 67, every bit the quondam features a large bulge underneath the butt. The location of the safety and magazine release, as well as the shape of the trigger guard, announced to take been adopted from the Nambu type 94. This is the only handgun model in Yakuza 0 that was created particularly for the game.

Walther PPK

The Walther PPK appears in the hands of members of the Omi Alliance sent to kidnap Makoto Makimura from the massage parlor. An unsuppressed model as well appears in the easily of Sohei Dojima during Majima's finale. The Yakuza developers announced to have a affair for playing pass-the-parcel with reusing parts from other gun models. In the same way the SIG Pro's triangle shaped magazine release button ended upward on the P226, the SIG P230'southward decocker lever is reused on the Walther PPK every bit some sort of slide finish.

Revolvers

Filly 1860 Regular army

The Colt 1860 Regular army model makes a return from Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin!. It appears as the "Antique Gun" and is purchasable from the weapons shop.

Filly 1860 Army - .44 caliber

"Antiquarian Gun" in the game bill of fare, this is shared between Kiwami and 0.

Majima clutches the Colt later on being knocked to the basis.

Nambu Model 60/Smith & Wesson Model 36

This Nambu Model 60/Smith & Wesson Model 36 hybrid revolver appears every bit the "Double Action Revolver" and is the "in-hand" model used by Japanese constabulary officers. It is notably used by a corrupt cop who uses it to kill Bilikin and Nishitani. Part of this scene shows that the cylinder model has non been separated from the rounds.

Nambu Model 60 snub olfactory organ - .38 Special.

The corrupt officer smugly explaining his plans to Nishitani and Majima...

Earlier losing the smug expression after Nishitani shrugs off four shots of .38 Special. Despite supposedly being "empty" though, unfired rounds are still visible in the cylinder; these can be seen more than conspicuously past zooming in. The developers understandably avoided camera angles that would make this obvious, hence why this is the best screenshot available (it'southward really cropped from the full frame, where it is even less noticeable unless yous were looking for it specifically).

Shotguns

Baikal MP-133

The Baikal MP-133 makes upwards most of the shotguns in 0 similar it does in Kiwami, ordinarily carried by Yakuza and random thugs and purchasable from the weapon shop. There is the normal wood stocked "Broken M1985", the synthetic stocked "Expulsion S-12", the aureate plated "Golden Shotgun" which is unlockable with CP points and a sawn off version known as the "Zap Gun" which works like a stun gun, albeit using the same animations as the normal burglarize-stocked versions. Similar the SIG Pro, P226 and a few others, this model is lifted from Yakuza 3 and is anachronistic as the MP133 wasn't produced until 2000.

Baikal MP-133 - 12-gauge.

Goro brings the trounce down on some random thugs with his "Zap Gun". Note the "interesting" fashion Majima-no-Niisan is holding the pistol-gripped gun like its burglarize-stocked cousins.

Golden Rifle

This is a Coach Gun that as the name suggests, is in gilt. It is called a "Gold Burglarize" as it is based on the same models from Yakuza 5, which are double barreled shotguns with rifled barrels for hunting. This ways it is divers as a "burglarize" in areas where such determinations are based solely on whether the gun has rifled barrels or non. But IMFDb classifies it equally a shotgun due to it using shotgun cartridges.

1960s Era Commercial Stevens hammerless side past side shotgun - 12 gauge.

Kiryu decides to bring some gilded plated pain to some "Men In Black" with his Golden Rifle.

Other

Cannon

One of the more interesting weapon options from the weapon shop is what appears to be a 17th Century naval cannon without a wheel mount. This is recycled from the "special" cannon weapon form on Yakuza 0's predecessor Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin!. Both the "Cannon" and the engraved "Destroyer of Lands" practice quite a lot of damage to whoever you fire at.

Naval cannon - 18th century

Goro decides to ruin some random goons's twenty-four hour period with his cannon.

Some other view showing how Goro grabs the cannon'south mounting indicate for the wheeled mountain as a sort of grip.

Molotov Cocktail

During the raid of the "Ocean Serenade" yacht, a couple of Kashiwagi's men throw Molotov Cocktails against Shibusawa'due south.

One of Kashiwagi'southward men about to throw a Molotov at the "trash on the pier."
