EDWARDSVILLE – 2 Litchfield residents were charged Monday with possession of a stolen auto.
Tiffany K. Northcutt, 31, and Joshua R. Thiessen, 36, both of Litchfield, were charged March 28 with offenses relating to motor vehicles, both Form 2 felonies.
In add-on, Northcutt was also charged with forgery, a Class 3 felony.
The cases were presented by the Metro Due east Auto Theft Task Force.
According to court documents, on March 27 the 2 allegedly were found to exist in possession of a reported stolen 2003 Buick Century.
Northcutt also allegedly attempted to laissez passer a bad bank check for $768.31.
Bail was prepare at $50,000 for Northcutt and $40,000 for Thiessen.
Also on Mon, Michael T. Bub, 55, of Collinsville, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 3 felony, and driving while license revoked, a Grade iv felony. The instance was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on March 26 Bub allegedly had less than 15 grams of tramadol and was driving a 2019 Kia Forte on Maryville Road, Granite City, with a revoked license. His license was revoked in 1995 due to a DIIO confidence; he has prior convictions for driving while license revoked in 1994, 1995 and 1996.
Too, Matthew C. Thaxton, 27, of Alton, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Course 4 felony, and criminal harm to belongings under $500, a Class A misdemeanor. The example was presented by the Alton Police Department. Co-ordinate to court documents, on March 27 Thaxton allegedly had less than 15 grams of fentanyl and damaged a window in the 200 block of Hamilton Street in Alton. Bail was set at $15,000.
